Matching Regge Theory to the OPE
The spectra of masses and decay constants for non-strange meson resonances in the energy range 0–2.5 GeV is analyzed. It is known from meson phenomenology that for given quantum numbers these spectra approximately follow linear trajectories with a universal slope. These facts can be understood in terms of an effective string description for QCD. For light meson states the trajectories deviate n...
متن کاملAnalytic Continuation of Massless Two-Loop Four-Point Functions
We describe the analytic continuation of two-loop four-point functions with one off-shell external leg and internal massless propagators from the Euclidean region of space-like 1→ 3 decay to Minkowskian regions relevant to all 1→ 3 and 2→ 2 reactions with one space-like or time-like off-shell external leg. Our results can be used to derive two-loop master integrals and unrenormalized matrix ele...
متن کاملAnalytic Continuation of Mellin Transforms up to two–loop Order
The analytic continuation of the Mellin transforms to complex values of N for the basic functions gi(x) of the momentum fraction x emerging in the quantities of massless QED and QCD up to two–loop order, as the unpolarized and polarized splitting functions, coefficient functions, and hard scattering cross sections for spaceand time-like momentum transfer are evaluated. These Mellin transforms p...
متن کاملWilson Loop, Regge Trajectory and Hadron Masses in a Yang-Mills Theory from Semiclassical Strings
We compute the one-loop string corrections to the Wilson loop, glueball Regge trajectory and stringy hadron masses in the Witten model of non supersymmetric, large-N Yang-Mills theory. The classical string configurations corresponding to the above field theory objects are respectively: open straight strings, folded closed spinning strings, and strings orbiting in the internal part of the superg...
متن کاملRegge spectrum from holographic models inspired by OPE
The problem of obtaining the Regge-like behaviour for meson mass spectrum in the hard-wall AdS/QCD models is addressed. We show that the problem can be solved by a simple incorporation of the effects of local vacuum condensates into such models. The slope of trajectories turns out to be determined by the local condensate of dimension 2 that is absent in the standard Operator Product Expansion. ...
